Nour Ismail, Writer and Novelist

ولدت نور إسماعيل فى القاهرة، ونشأت فى سوهاج فى صعيد مصر. حاصلة علي ليسانس الآداب قسم الإعلام عام 2012، وقد إكتشفت موهبتها في كتابة الرواية والقصة القصيرة منذ أن كانت طالبة في الجامعة، وأثقلت موهبتها بعد تخرجها حيث تفرغت لها تفرغ تام ، حيث كانت تدرس فن الكتابة لمعظم مشاهير الكتابة في الوطن العربي.

Born in Cairo and grew up in Sohag, Upper Egypt, Nour holds a Bachelor of Arts, Department of Media in 2012. She discovered her talent in writing novels and short stories since she was a student at the university. After graduating, she enriched her talent by devoting herself to it full-time and studying the work of famous Arab writers.

بعد تخرجها من الجامعة عملت في مجال الدعاية والإعلان والعلاقات العامة لمدة 3سنوات، كما تزوجت بعد إتمامها دراستها وأنجبت ابنتها الوحيدة ساجدة المريضة بالقلب.

وانفصلت عن زوجها وهي الآن تعيش مع ابنتها وكتابة رواياتها.

After graduating from college, she worked in advertising and public relations for 3 years. She also got married and gave birth to her only daughter, Sajida, who has a heart condition. The marriage didn’t last long. After her divorce, Nour lives with her daughter and writing her novels.

والثلاثينية نور نشرت بعض اعمالها الكترونيا على فيس بوك، والذي يحظى بمتابعة جيدة. فلديها الكثير من المتابعين المُغرمين بكتابتها وينتظرون منها كل جديد بشغف.

ومن أهم روايتها التي تم نشرها مؤخراً علي فيسبوك "العشق وقليل منه يكفي، قهوة وداع، والتى تنتمى لفئة الرعب؛ فيولين عهد الثالوث، وإسألوها عن الروح".

Nour, 30, has e-published some of her work Facebook, which has a good follow-up. She has a lot of followers who are fond of her writing and are eagerly waiting for everything new.

Among some of the novels she published on Facebook are, "A little love is enough”, "Farewell Coffee", a horror novel; "Violin, the Time of the Trinity" , and "Ask her About the Soul".

نور إسماعيل لها عملين ورقيين شاركت بإحداهما العام الماضي بمعرض القاهرة الدولي للكتاب عن دار تشكيل للنشر والتوزيع، وهي رواية "بروحى دار"، وهى رواية رومانسية ، والأخرى تشارك بها هذا العام وهي " لعنة كوتارد" وهي تحكي عن شاب ثلاثيني يقع تحت وطأة أحداث مريبة داخل المشرحة.

والرواية ذات موضوع شائك حول متلازمة كوتارد النادرة والتى حينما يُصاب بها الإنسان تعطيه شعورًا بأنه ميت ولكن يتحرك على قيد الحياة ، بطل القصة يدعى آدم يعمل طبيبًا شرعيًا بالمشرحة، يواجه صراعًا دائمًا بين نفسه ومن حوله من أشياء وأشخاص بسبب تعلقه الزائد بوالدته الراحلة عنه.

Nour Ismail has published two novels. The first is a romantic novel, “In My Spirit is a House”, published by Tashkeel Publishing and Distribution and released at Cairo International Book Fair 2020.

She released her second novel “Curse of Cotard” at the Cairo Book Fair 2021”. It tells the story of Adam, a forensic doctor, who suffers from Cotard syndrome, a rare disorder which gives people a feeling that they are dead while they are still alive.

Adam works in the morgue, and struggles with himself and people around him because of his attachment to his dead mother. ❝
